• Pick up from your accommodation in Adelaide at 7.30 am. Our tour will be conducted in a well-equipped, comfortable and air-conditioned 4 WD vehicle.

• After leaving Adelaide’s northern suburbs we drive to the Clare Valley, one of Australia’s best-known wine regions. Here we visit the oldest winery 'Sevenhill' for wine tasting, which was founded by Austrian Jesuit Monks in 1851.
  A gourmet picnic lunch along the way will be provided.

• The tour will continue further into the South Australian grain mecca past huge grain fields to the picturesque little township of Melrose, situated at the foothills of Mount Remarkable. We will explore the main attraction of Mount Remarkable National Park, walking through Alligator Gorge and be amazed by its size and beauty.

• Then on through Quorn and Hawker, the last settlements before reaching the South Australian Outback and our destination for the evening the 'Prairie Hotel' in Parachilna. Here we will enjoy a delicious three course dinner

• After breakfast we will visit the heart of the Flinders Ranges National Park – 100,000 hectares provide a wide range of attractions. One of the most important features is Brachina Gorge Geological Trail. The 11 kilometre trail reveals the development of Australia from 640 million years ago until 520 million years ago by the various colours in the rock layers.
  A gourmet picnic lunch will be provided along the way.

• We then walk along Wilpena Creek, the only opening of the huge pound surrounded by the mountain ranges, which form Wilpena Pound. We have an excellent view of the pound and appreciate the size better from the Wilpena Pound Lookout.

• Arriving back at the 'Prairie Hotel' for our overnight stay, we will enjoy another gourmet dinner.

• After breakfast we drive along the beautiful 'Elder Ranges' to Hawker and visit the 'Yourambulla Caves'. Here we see not only Aboriginal drawings but also enjoy an amazing view over the outback landscape which appears to be endless.
  Lunch will be provided along the way.

• On our return to Adelaide we will stop at Mambray Creek National Park for afternoon tea, where hopefully we will be joined by Australian natives such as Kookaburras, Emus etc.
  Return to your accommodation in Adelaide will be at around 7.00 pm
